The soundtrack for the silent version of Blackmail by Alfred Hitchcock, created by Edison Studio, was released in 2025 by Imprint Collection #448 as part of a 10-Blu-ray box set containing the film alongside nine other silent films by Alfred Hitchcock.

The Hitchcock Nine (1925–1929) brings together the nine surviving silent films of Alfred Hitchcock in a single collection from Imprint Films, including Blackmail (1929).
Created 35 years before Psycho and 29 years before Rear Window, these masterpieces offer a fascinating insight into Hitchcock’s formative years in British silent cinema.
Presented across 10 Blu-ray discs and limited to 1,000 individually numbered copies, this rigid slipcase edition features 1080p high-definition presentations sourced from restorations by the BFI National Archives.

A young woman is blackmailed by a ruthless criminal after he discovers that she has killed a man in self-defence during an attempted assault. As she desperately tries to conceal her secret, her boyfriend — a police inspector — is assigned to investigate the case.
