On march the 11th 2011 a  magnitude 9.0 (Mw) undersea earthquake triggered a powerful tsunami wave that hit the coast of Japan. The event caused thousands of deaths, injured, people missingand totally collapsed buildings. Five days later Japanese emperor Akihito addressed nation in rare TV appearance, urging his people not to give up and described unfolding events at the stricken Fukushima nuclear power plant as “unpredictable”.
